Today, classrooms are filled with technology – tablets, digital whiteboards, learning management systems, open educational resources, student information systems and the list goes on. However, the real game-changer for education is the byproduct of implementing technology into the classroom: data, often referred to as “big data” due to its tremendous volume, variety and velocity.
