Science Graphic of the Week: 10-Foot-Long Map Charts Path of America’s Next Total Solar Eclipse

August 21, 2017 will be the day of the great American eclipse, the first total solar eclipse visible in the continental US since 1979 and the first to cross both the Pacific and Atlantic coasts since 1918. A new map, which would be 10 feet long if printed out, is a guide to this remarkable event.
